Our Wembley Hotel is the ideal Asian wedding venue. Whether you are looking for a traditional theatre style ceremony for hundreds of guests or a more relaxed intimate event we offer a wealth of experience to ensure you get your perfect day. Our experienced wedding planner has created the ultimate guide to Asian wedding trends in 2018:

Big On Blues. Navy, Royal Or Hues…

With the changing colour palettes for brides and unconventional settings, we have seen shades of blue making it big in 2018 wedding fashion. From powder blue lehengas to silky indigo gowns, this calming colour will make a contrasting statement with diamond, gold or silver jewellery. Grooms too can coordinate their outfits with a navy blue sherwani or a suave three-piece suit.

Botanical Centrepieces

While theme-based decorations take most of the attention during Asian wedding planning, we couldn’t overlook the use of rustic wildflowers and botanical elements that have been setting a new trend. They are being used predominantly in an outdoor setting, however, they look fantastic in any setting. The Empire suite at our Wembley hotel has an abundance of space that looks amazing when dressed with botanicals. This trend is ideal for greenery lovers who are looking for an impressive décor that is environmentally friendly to some extent.

Versatility of Metallics

Rose gold has been around for a while now and in 2018 hasn’t gone away. For a variation, we have seen the use of copper becoming more popular. A strategic mix of metallic shades combined with soft pastels will rule the accessories display, the props, the tableware, the bar counters and even the wedding cake. Not forgetting metallic nail colours.

Formality is back with Wedding Invites

The recent reception invites from celebrities Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma wedding is giving some major goals for prepping up the invitation cards and gifting ideas for guests. From paper to latex, wood or even stone engravings, there is a huge trend for playing with your wedding card stationery. For gifts and favours, recyclable and reusable boxes have been the mantra this season.

Minimalistic Mehndi Designs

Bridal Mehendi designs are transforming throughout the South Asian wedding scene. Simple yet chic textures are replacing intricate and overdone styles on both hands and feet. A kitsch Mehendi look for 2018 has been more focused around floral lace cuffs, glittery studs and empty fingertips.

Interactive Photo Booths

Why should live photography be limited to the bride and groom only? With a host of interesting photo booth ideas, couples with sassy social media sharing features will keep your guests entertained for the most part. GIFs and Instagram video-based booths are the newest trends and have been huge hits in 2018.

Bold Motif Blouses And Accessories

Bringing back the Asian traditional and contemporary wedding fashion, the motif embellishments and zardosi crafted clutches will be a quintessential choice for the brides-to-be this season. The bolder options of Elephant motifs on your blouses will be a spectacular trendsetter with bridal lehengas or sarees.

Holiday Inn Wembley Reviews

Alenandre,

Saint Johnsbury, Vermont

I was really impressed and even surprised how great this hotel was. It is located next to Wembley and it is 5-7 minutes to walk from the subway station Wembley Park. Rooms are very clean, the bed was simply fantastic. The breakfast is far above traditional breakfasts in midrange price British hotels. I will definitely stay there again when I am going to be in London.

James,

Coatbridge

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for decent hotel in London and although a wee bit outside the center of London, the rail/tube links to Wembley makes this hotel easily accessible to central London (30 min train journey). We booked executive room (£134) which was large, with great view of Wembley stadium. Service from staff was very good with food and drink reasonable for London.

Pauline,

Colchester

The welcome was friendly and helpful. Room on 3rd floor very clean and fresh. Twin beds as requested. Very comfortable. The temperature of room was constant with no stuffy feel.

Great choice for breakfast. This is hotel is good value for money considering location.

Deborah,

Miami Beach, Florida

This hotel was absolutely great. The food and everything far exceeded my expectations. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were extraordinarily professional and provided excellent service. They were very accommodating and made my stay a very pleasant and rewarding one.

John,

Truro

Handy for train station and bus routes, and it had all amenities that you could reasonably require. The room itself was good and I slept well that night. I would gladly stay again.

David,

Tees Valley

Good value stopover with the city easily reached by the Metropolitan Line. Team here are always welcoming. Comfortable and clean room on the 9th floor and the air con much appreciated on a scorcher of a day outside.

Will,

Derbyshire

Wonderful hotel room, very good price, staff were lovely and friendly. Saying how busy it was after the summertime ball the staff were friendly and on hand to help. Would recommend to anyone who wants a place to stay visiting Wembley stadium.
