10 Things To Do At Home Whilst In Lockdown

Bored, or running out of things to do? Let’s face it lockdown can be tough at times but luckily for you, there are plenty of things you can do at home. Here are some ideas from our hotel in Wembley for you to try! 

Learn a language

Always wanted to learn French? Or something even harder like Japanese? Well now is the perfect opportunity to try. There are a number of apps available, like Duolingo which makes learning a language even easier. Who knows, you might be fluent by the end of lockdown.

Go on a virtual museum tour

Although you might be confined to your house, you can still get your daily dose of culture thanks to virtual tours. Google Arts and Culture have teamed up with over 2,500 museums and galleries from across the globe, to enable the public to explore exhibitions from the comfort of their couch. Make an epic blanket fort

Blanket forts are fun and no they are not just for kids (despite what people may say). I mean who doesn’t want to hide away in a little world of their own for a while? Grab old blankets, duvets, sheets and whatever else you can find and get building. Then spend the day watching films, you won’t regret it trust us!

Take a yoga class

Gyms and studios may be shut, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be active at home. If HIIT workouts aren’t quite your thing, then our Wembley hotel recommends trying yoga. One thing we are all excited about is the moment the Government announces that lockdown is over. What to do first, who to see first?
